Our assumption though is that unlike other blue-sky clouds art, the subject here is neither the clouds nor the sky but what is below it. So, the purpose here, in our opinion is for the clouds to highlight the small albeit barely visible parts of the blue sky. However, unlike regular fluffy clouds, there are more unimpressive. The 3D stylized clouds are instantly visible from a distance. While not instantly evident, this is a 3D impasto landscape art, with dual meaning and perhaps purpose. KR Moehr is certainly no stranger to using pastel shades to tell a story, but CLOUD WATCHING is very different from her other work. It's a very cool and soothing artwork.ĬLOUD WATCHING is a remarkably vivid abstract landscape painting and in our opinion, one of the best attempts by an artist to depict drama in muted colors.
